Maui to Sydney

Didnt sleep much as the wind was very strong. I was very scared about the flight. We left early and the rain and wind was pretty strong. Managed to get an earlier flight which i was thrilled about. Was frightened we would have been stranded. Nice place to be stranded though.
Finally got to sydney and realized our luggage was lost. Hopefully by the time we get home it will be ok.
We had a wonderful holiday with Ginger and Phil. We were very lucky. Very sad to say goodbye. Aloha.

Maui

Woke up a bit worried as the cyclone was getting closer. Decided to cancel our sunset cruise and eat out at home.
Wanted to see some more beaches so drove down the coast. Found a great beach that was sheltered. We had our wine and nibbles. The colour of the water was beautiful.

Spent the last night swimming before the storm hit.

Kanapali Luau -

Had a big sleep in and then went shopping down on the beach. Ginger and I had lunch on the beach. Hawaii music playing in the background.
At night went to  a Luau. Big production very good. Loved it all.

Maui Kapilanu- Plantation Golf

Hit off at 1pm at a magnificent golf course. Number 10 in the world. Nearly every hole had a sea view. We all played really good golf. A rain cloud came after the first nine so had lunch in the magnificent club rooms. Went out and finished our round of golf. Came in and had cocktail

and dinner. Very pretty outlook. A very special day that we will remember always.

Maui Tuesday

Decided to have a picnic on the beach on our way to the helicopter trip. Picked up some lunch at the local deli. Found a lovely beach on the way to the airport.

Arrived at the airport and got ready for the big flight. Amazing flight. Just like being in Jurassic Park.
Took an hour flight. incredible.

Finished up at at restaurant called Monkey Poos. Sensational food. Made our way home for Baileys and chocolate.

Maui Monday

Woke up to the beautiful view again. Had breakfast and broke my tooth. Couldnt believe my luck. Very close to tears. Spent the morning trying to find a dentist. Finally found one and off we went. We were very scared at what it was going to cost but only cost $300. A bargain as my kids said. Before the dentist went down to the beach and the others had lunch right on the beach., The sea was pretty rough and dangerous. Lunch and Mojitos were very nice though I missed out.

Came home and had a nap and then got ready for the Elvis show. Went for tea beforehand to a gorgeous restaurent right on the sea front. So nice. 

After dinner went to the Elvis show. Excellent. Ginger was sung to on the stage. A lot of fun.

Home to Baileys and Chocolates.

Maui

Woke up for relaxing day to recover. Barry and Phil went off to play golf while Ginger and I stayed by the pool.

Ginger and I walked to meet the guys at the golf club. Had a look at the shops very nice. Had a great night just sitting around the pool for a BBQ.
